How long did it take you to write your book?
Each book is unique. In general, including professional editing and copy editing, a book takes eight to twelve months, start to finish.
What has been the most pivotal point of your writing life?
There have been many. One was receiving an honorable mention from Library Journal for my first book, Fire and Sword.
What kind of advice would you give other fantasy authors?
Take your time. It’s a marathon, not a sprint.
