So I hate doing shit that feels like homework, but I’m all about promotion so I might as well write this. Right now I’m waiting for the release of my new film Slow Down want to do anything to get word out. Trust me, because of the terrible things I’ve done to become director of the film, it has to be a hit. I will be fucking pissed if it doesn’t. I’ve moved out of my parents’ house finally, ditched my loser brother and sister, and live with Isadora now. Is it weird that she used to be married to the former director of the film? Is it weird that he’s dead? I guess you can’t question true love, or least you can’t question ambition. It makes sense for me to be with Isadora now because she has the kind of financial backing for the film. While I grew up with money, my parents wouldn’t help with backing the film, so Isadora was my only choice. She’s cold and distant, nothing like my true love Nevie, but I believe that happiness is overrated. I’d rather be known. And since Nevie is starring in the film it’s not like I don’t have any interaction with her. Who knows what might happen down the road? But for now, I have to play nice with Isadora. I have to pretend to be in love with her, at least until the film is released. We need to walk red carpets together and talk about how the death of her husband brought us closer. We are closer than anyone else because of the secrets we share. The dirt we have on one another. The question is, who will turn on the other first? She is cunning, but I am far worse.
