Can you tell us what your new book is about?

The Devil and Dayna Dalton is part of an anthology about the strange town of Bulwark, where strange things happen. I felt Dayna got an unjust rap in the first book and wanted people to understand life from her shoes.

Can you tell us a little about your main and supporting characters?

Dayna’s bright and strong. A brilliant Georgetown graduate, she is stuck in her old hometown. Her life is a revolving door of lousy relationships because she’s been in love her whole life with the unattainable Sherrif Clay Finnes.

Becky Dalton- Dayna’s boozy demanding mother who picks on her every chance she gets. She won’t name Dayna’s father. With her history, it could be anyone.

Mrs. Sweetpea- Dayna’s former sitter has landed in the condo next to hers. Something powerful and definitely creepy is going on with her.

The stranger- he could be the answer to Dayna’s needs and dreams.

Your book is set in Bulwark, Georgia. Can you tell us why you chose this location in particular?

I created Bulwark in my imagination. It is what I think an isolated town would be like in rural Georgia.

How long did it take you to write your book?

Three days.

What has been the most pivotal point of your writing life?

Getting published as an indie, and then being paid to publish with a publisher.

What kind of advice would you give other authors?

Stay with it. Don’t quit your day job, and enjoy the ride.
